Reminder to Local Business Owners

The Lincoln Police Department would like to remind all Lincoln business owners to make sure that all doors and windows are securely locked when you close your business for the day. Daily receipts should be deposited in the bank or the night deposit drop each day at the close of business as well. Any money left on site should be put in a secure place such as a safe, not left in the register or out in the open, unsecured. Report anything suspicious to the police department at 745-2222.

Armed Robbery Occurs in Lincoln on August 18, 2009

At approximately 2:15pm on August 18th, 2009 the Lincoln Police Department received a 911 call reporting that an armed robbery had just occurred at Ice Cream Delights on Main Street in Lincoln. Arriving Officers were able to obtain a description of the suspect and the vehicle he was driving. The suspect, Charles Allen of Ashland, NH was later taken into custody by the New Hampshire State Police without incident in the town of Harts Location. Allen is being held at the Grafton County House of Corrections until his arraignment on August 19, 2009.
