The Lincoln Police Department has recently introduced a new web site. The site offers citizens a easy and intuitive way to learn about their department and the services they offer.

Site navigation is divided into several catagories; 'News and Events' list major announcements, news items and events of interest; The 'Reference Library' contains all current documents and files available for download as well as other state and local resources. The 'Community Outreach', 'Education' and 'Safety' categories offer information on the various programs available to Lincoln citizens. Find current available job opportunities with the department including job descriptions in the 'Job Opportunities' category. 'Frequently Asked Questions' and 'Contact Us' round out the catagory list.

Amber Alert and Homeland Security Advisory icons, available throughout the web site, keep citizens current in these two critical information areas.

The new web site is designed to closely replicate the look and feel of the new Town of Lincoln web site, which was introduced in the fall of 2007.
